BEGINNERS READING PLAN
Print Version

If you are new to the Bible then you are likely asking the question, “How do I start?”. There are tons of Reading Plans available. When starting out it may be best to get a quick overview of God’s Word. Hence the Step 1 reading plan below. It was designed around a 31 day plan, but you can read through it as quickly as you like.

After you feel comfortable with Step 1 and the over arching view of the Bible, then it’s time to move to Step 2. Step 2 highlights entire books of the Bible with greater detail.

Once you have completed Step 2, read from Genesis through the Bible to Revelation. Some want to read it in chronological order as it happened. That is OK too. I think it is important to stay on task with your Bible reading. Once you are at this point, you may be reading multiple parts of the Bible at the same time while still maintaining your regular reading schedule.

Regardless of what anyone tells you, there is no Right or Wrong way to read the Bible. Just make sure you do!
